You may notice a new page on the top of my blog, I have a slightly mad plan to go through the entire year with always having something home baked in the kitchen, so basically if it gets eaten I have to cook again. So as we finished my lovely birthday cake yesterday, I had to get cooking!
I made the Blondie from my new Hummingbird Bakery Cookbook, although I suspect I overcooked it a little, as the colour is little bit more golden than it should be and it’s a little dry (to the level of making me cough when I ate some yesterday), however thankfully it tastes a bit nicer today! I think I prefer Brownies though!
