Ok…what better time to start a blog then when I have a fridge full of Kohlrabi and other scary items from my weekly CSA box. Do you participate in a CSA if not you should! You get a huge box of fresh, organic veggies and pay less then what you would at the market. I pay $15/weekly but this varies depending on where you are located. I first heard about CSA’s through Martha Stewart Living and found out more at this website: www.localharvest.org but I digress…back to the task at hand…KOHLRABI!!! I got alot of it and have NO IDEA how to cook it. Some say roast, some say puree, some say raw…Ive watched videos on how to cut it and have read numerous items on how to cook it and yet here I am procrastinating on actually cooking it. I would love to hear from those who have made it through the cooking of Kohlrabi and have lived to tell the tale…I will keep you all posted on how it goes…Im leaning towards a recipe I found on recipezaar.com (recipe # 326258) But who knows…onward and upward to the fridge I say! To the fridge!
